Ciara Feely runs a Venue Finding Service.  It is quite a niche market in Ireland but a well developed business in the UK and USA.  The business was set up  in 2007 after working in Venue sales for 12 years in the US and upon returning home in 2003, extensively evaluating the Irish market. 

The Venue Finding Service works in 2 ways -

*  Contact me directly with your venue spec, giving details such as size, atmosphere etc, whatever is important to the success of your event.  I will discuss different venue options, carry out the search and get back to you with a report on venues that suit your search criteria, budget etc.  I can arrange for you to view the venue and will accompany you if required.  Once you decide which venue you are booking,  I step back from there, I do not get involved in the organisation of the event.

* Search the Venue Finding Website – this is built for meeting organisers to independently search by location, capacity and lets say natural daylight in the meeting room is important or WiFi, click the search criteria important to you and a list of venues matching your criteria will be returned.  Over 400 venues are listed and 100 “featured venues” have paid for a 7 page web brochure on the venue with over 20 photos.  Save the venues you are interested in (by clicking save to short list) and when ready, hit “Send Free Enquiry” button, fill in your details and this will go directly to the Venues.  They will contact you directly by phone or email with a quote.

This service is completely free for the Venue Finder to use.  The Venues pay us – we operate like a mortgage broker, venues pay to be on the website.
